It allows for natural carbonation, which is often preferred over forced carbonation for its smoother mouthfeel and better flavor integration. It also acts as a safety device, preventing the fermenter from over-pressurizing and potentially exploding. Using a spunding valve can lead to better beer quality and consistency. It's especially popular in lager brewing, where precise carbonation is crucial. Requires 1/4 MFL quick disconnect fitting for application. Not included.
