3 Ring Circus Brew Shop: First Ever Tasting Night Recap
Cold Beer, Good Yarn, and a Few Laughs
Well, would you believe it? The very first 3 Ring Circus Brew Shop Tasting Night kicked off on Friday 15 August, and what a cracker of an evening it was. A bunch of us keen blokes (and a couple of ring-ins) braved the winter chill, all in the noble pursuit of a decent drop.
On tap for the night: the Ringmaster’s own Black Rock Pilsner and the mysterious Lager the sort of brew that probably came with a warning label. And just to keep things interesting, some genius rolled out an espresso martini from the iKegger contraption (because nothing says “beer night” like a sneaky shot of caffeine in a glass).
The Kegerator was working harder than a tradie on a Friday arvo, pumping out frothy schooners to our eager crew. Fair to say, the Black Rock Pilsner stole the show. Light, crisp, and a little bit sweet, it went down smoother than a dad joke at a family BBQ.
That espresso martini? Had all the right flavours, but the Ringmaster’s crema looked like it’d gone ten rounds with a whisk and lost. Still, no one was complaining—liquid gold’s liquid gold, right?
Big thanks to the legends at Slide N Shake Belrose for the snacks—nothing fancy, just good honest tucker that paired perfectly with a cold one.
Ringmaster’s note to self: Next time, remember to snap a few photos for the album (or at least for proof we left the house).
All up, not a bad way to spend a Friday night. So if you’re keen for a yarn and a pint, make sure you subscribe to the newsletter where we will advise of the next event..
